Seasonality of Female Marriage in Bangladesh

After rice harvests, female marriage age decreases and marriage rates increase. I develop a marriage model with differentiated female marriage markets to explain these phenomena through the effect of seasonal income. Seasonal income within agricultural societies has a long-run effect on female human capital stocks.
Comparing Returns to Education: A Panel Data Methods Survey
